A new kind of Child Care Center

Dear Neighbor:

Little Spanish Garden (LSG) is a local early learning center aimed to provide quality education. Our early learning center has been successful creating a diverse early school where the children feel accepted and protected. We intend to focus on the holistic development of a child helping them to achieve developmental milestones and a strong learning foundation. Our learning environment is designed according to the pedagogy of Reggio Emilia with Spanish for fun! Our previous/present location in Cheektowaga and now the newly renovated learning center in Amherst now able to enroll 35 more children this fall. What sets Little Spanish Garden apart is that we incorporate children from diverse backgrounds to facilitate the learning of a second language and to teach respect for other cultures. Exposure to diverse cultures and languages from an early age will help the child to progress later in life. Moreover, we are keen to establish a strong bond with families to build a strong community. 

We are looking for a partnership with parents. Together we can create a huge impact on society. With the collaboration we can efficiently fulfill the educational needs of our youngest learners. A variety of collaborative activities are planned to promote the development of students such as Ages and Stages our relationship with QualityStarsNY, to name just a few.  Interaction between preschooler teachers and kindergarten educators will enable us to work on the Common Core objectives and help to deal with the problems concerning early education, diversity, and inclusion. Our primary goal is to better prepare children for kindergarten. It will also allow parents to understand the importance of an early school before entering kindergarten.
